Calea Victoriei
Calea Victoriei which translates to Victory Street, is named after Romania’s victory in the War on Independence against the Ottomans in 1878. It is one of the oldest boulevards in Bucharest and a must-see attraction in Bucharest.
Nowadays, it has become a true cultural landmark because of it’s many famous tourist attractions in Bucharest including Cantacuzino Palace, George Enescu Museum, the National Museum of Art of Romania, Odeon Theatre, Revolution Square and the Kretzulescu Church. There are also many hotels, restaurants and shopping options.
